Here’s another example of a slightly hoarded house clearance we did recently.
It involved a full clearance of all rooms, including hallways, lounge, dining room, back conservatory type room which was full of electricals, kitchen, outhouse/utility room, garage, garden (including the contents of 2 sheds), loft, bathroom and 3 bedrooms.
We were also asked to remove the stairlift and carry out a clean as well to help with the sale of the house.
We were left with the keys to the house so that we could carry on with the work every day without disturbing the customer.

We worked tirelessly over 4 long days using 3 people each day to clear the property as quickly as possible.

Not one item was sent to landfill as all items not fit for reuse were sent to a transfer station where they were sorted, recycled or sent to energy for waste.
Once the house was cleared, the family were then able to get the house on the market.
Office Clearance And Relocation
We spent a day in central Bristol clearing an office as they were downsizing and relocating to another part of the centre. This was due to an increase in staff remote working following the COVID-19 pandemic.
We donated 1.5 van loads of the furniture to charity ‘The Sofa Project’ (Old Market, Bristol), followed by an after-dark van load delivery to Health and Social Care company Futures Care (Gloucester).
Our ethos is to donate to charity and send as many items as possible for reuse.
Once the clearance was complete, we moved items from the old building to the new building and took away anything that didn’t quite fit!
Commercial Waste Management
We had the pleasure of working for one of UWE (University of the West of England) Bristol’s subcontractors on a mammoth project to sort and keep or dispose of a room full of carpet tiles – taken up in preparation for an NHS Hospital during the Covid Pandemic….
Our brief – to save as many tiles for reuse as possible!
